Stibbe collects and processes personal data from both open applications and applications for existing vacancies within Stibbe. Personal data submitted to Stibbe by the job candidate are used exclusively by Stibbe for recruitment and selection purposes. Namely:
Stibbe only collects and processes data that are relevant and necessary for the above purposes. This concerns at least the following candidate details: contact details, academic records, curriculum vitae and motivation. Should the candidate provide other data than those requested by Stibbe, Stibbe will also exclusively treat these data for the purposes mentioned above.
The data of candidates will only be provided to those who are necessarily involved in the recruitment, selection and employment process.
Stibbe will delete the candidate's data no later than four weeks after the application procedure has ended, unless the candidate agrees to retain the data for a period of one year. During this period, the candidate's data may be used in case a suitable vacancy arises. After the retention period has expired, the candidate's data will be completely deleted from Stibbe's systems. Candidate data will be deleted from Stibbe's systems immediately at the candidate's request.
Stibbe has organisational and technical security measures to prevent access by unauthorised persons, destruction, loss and possible misuse of candidates' data. Stibbe also ensures that third parties commissioned by Stibbe to process candidates' data take security measures.
Candidates may contact Stibbe by e-mail: [email protected] with a request to view the personal data processed about the candidate. In addition, the candidate may request Stibbe to correct, update or remove his or her data. The candidate also has the right to have his or her data provided in a commonly used format, and to restrict the processing of his or her data. The candidate always retains the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority about the processing of his or her data.
