Corporate Criminal Law Practice Day – 9 December 2026

Curious to find out more about financial and economic criminal law? During the Corporate Criminal Law Practice Day on Wednesday 9 December 2026, you will have the opportunity to get to know our corporate criminal law practice, meet our lawyers and experience Stibbe as a firm.

During the Practice Day, you will assist a company in crisis that has just been confronted with a FIOD raid and the arrest of one of its directors. What should you do? What should you consider? What strategy would you advise your clients to pursue, and what dilemmas might arise along the way?

Working in teams and under the guidance of our lawyers, you will tackle this case yourself. You will experience various aspects of our practice, from providing ‘first aid’ during a search to developing a strategy to bring the criminal proceedings against your clients to an end, preferably as discreetly as possible.

In short, it will be an engaging afternoon in which legal expertise, strategic thinking and current societal issues come together. And, just as in our day-to-day practice, there will be time afterwards for drinks and a bite to eat – to reflect on the afternoon, or simply to talk about something completely different. It is a great opportunity to get to know our lawyers and fellow students and to experience the atmosphere at Stibbe.
